Left over "curry"

Peppers and Eggplant Spag
Peppers and Eggplant Pasta

song I'm loving at the moment.

It's poetic . . .

She let go of my hand
An' left me here facing the wall.
I'd sure like t' know
Why she did go,
But I can't get close t' her at all.
Though we kissed through the wild blazing nighttime,
She said she would never forget.
But now mornin's clear,
It's like I ain't here,
She just acts like we never have met.

Upgrade your earrings - DIY

I'm bored of my jewellery at the moment, but I'm struggling to find pieces I like. I was cleaning up my collection when I noticed I have two earrings like the one bellow. The only difference is the other one has a butterfly on it. After some thought I came up with this idea to jazz my earrings up a bit. I think it is perfect hit of colour I need this depressing winter.

You need - Earrings, two different colours of wool

Take your first strand of wool and knot it around the earrings

Cut the strand

tie the next strand of wool to the one you've just finished using (hide the knot my wrapping wool around it)

Finish. I held the final strand down with UHU glue, but you can knot it)

Bag of pearls (from ebay), needle + thread.

Pass the needle through the tights and then pass it through a pearl

Pass the needle + pearl through the tights again. I repeat the process twice then double knot it.

Add as many pearls as you like in whatever order you like.

Heard this on a Tv show and it stuck with me. However, I'm not sure if I like it.

Really loving this song at the moment.

And everyone around me shakes their head in disbelief
And says I’m too caught up
They say young is good and old is fine
And truth is cool but all that matters
Is that you have your good times
But their good times come with prices
And I can’t believe it when I hear the jokes they make
At anyone’s expense except their own
Would they laugh if they knew who paid?

You need - a skinny ribbon, chain (I actually used a handbag strap I picked up from John Lewis), needle and thread.

thread the ribbon through the chain holes, sew the ends down.
*ignore my faded nail polish - :D*

You end up with that^.

It can be worn around the wrist or neck.

song I'm loving at the moment.

A lot of people probably know Nneka from her minor hit "Heartbeat". But, I prefer this song, great beat, good lyrics. I think it is pretty easy to understand even if you don't speak the language. "Kangpe" translates to "I'm good", "I'm fine". If someone says "I dey Kangpe" like she does in the song, it means "I'm good". The song has some religious undertones, but I'm not vaguely religious, and I love it.

Embedding is disabled in the real video, but typing "Kangpe" into youtube will get you to it.
